TrassaHub

SMS Opt-In Process & Consent Verification

How users opt in to receive SMS

TrassaHub is a mobile app for truck drivers and transportation professionals (iOS and Android — there is no website signup; this is the app's only opt-in path). Users opt in to receive SMS messages during account creation, as follows:

  1. The user downloads the TrassaHub app and taps "Create account."
  2. The user lands on the "Create account" screen shown below and enters their mobile phone number in the "Phone number" field.
  3. Directly below the phone number field, before any message is sent, the user sees the exact consent language quoted below — this is the only call-to-action control on the screen.
  4. The user taps "Send code," which triggers a one-time SMS verification code to confirm their number.

This is an unedited screenshot of the actual "Create account" screen as it appears to every user, taken on a physical device. The phone number field, the full consent disclosure text, and the "Send code" button (the call-to-action control) are all visible together in a single view — nothing is hidden behind a link, a modal, or a secondary screen.

The consent text is anchored immediately below the phone number field and directly above the Send Code button, satisfying the requirement that consent language sit at or adjacent to the call-to-action control.

Exact consent language shown to the user

This text appears on the "Create account" screen, directly below the phone number field and above the "Send code" button (visible verbatim in the screenshot above):
